The Events module is the heart of MakerEventsOS: your whole season in one list, and a true
profit number on every show.
Every show gets an event record: date, location, booth fee, organizer notes, an optional
event photo, and a status. Track applications the same way — applied, accepted, waitlisted,
passed — with their deadlines, so ZAPP emails stop holding your calendar hostage. (We track
application status and deadlines; we don't submit applications for you.)
On an event page, allocate what you're bringing: pick products (or specific variants) and
quantities. This gives you:
home goes back into stock
The built-in POS is deliberately minimal: big tap targets, works one-handed on a phone
outdoors, two or three taps per sale, and it doesn't fall over when the fairground Wi-Fi does.
Cash sales, card-reader-of-your-choice sales, discounts, and per-sale notes are all supported.
If you use Square as your register, you may never open the POS at all — connected Square
accounts attribute card sales to the day's event automatically. See Square sync.
Booth fees are only part of the cost. Add per-event expenses (parking, helper lunch, that
tent weight you had to buy at 7am) and set your round-trip mileage — it's costed at the IRS
rate and included in the P&L.
Every event page shows the number that matters:
revenue − booth fee − cost of goods sold − mileage − expenses = net profitSeason-level reports rank every show by that net number — not gross sales, which is how a
"great" show quietly loses money year after year.
When an upcoming event's allocation would run you out of stock, you get an email listing
exactly what to make and how many. The dashboard shows the same list.
The free tier tracks one event per calendar month with manual sales entry — enough to prove the
math on your next show. Basic unlocks unlimited events, the booth POS, allocation, expenses, and
detailed reports. See Billing & plans.
