MakerEventsOS

Built at the booth, not in an office.

MakerEventsOS exists because doing math on a napkin at 9pm on a Sunday, in the dark, next to a half-collapsed tent, is a terrible way to run a business.

Hi, I’m Kevin.

I run TK Creations— a 3D printing, laser engraving, and CNC woodworking business that sells at craft fairs and festivals around Virginia. Articulated dragons, custom signs, engraved gifts; if you’ve wandered a Virginia market, you may have walked past my tent.

I’m also a software developer by trade. For years those two lives never touched: weekdays I built software, weekends I ran a booth off a spreadsheet, a camera roll full of packing-pile photos, and a gut feeling about which shows were “good.”

The breaking point was realizing I genuinely could not answer the simplest question in the business: did this weekend make money? Square knew my sales but not my shows. The spreadsheet knew my booth fees but not my sales. Nobody counted the mileage. So I built the thing I needed: one app that tracks every show from application to teardown and puts a true profit number on each one.

I used it at my own events all season first. Then I decided to open it up to 50 founding vendorswho want the same answers — and who’ll tell me bluntly what to build next. That’s the whole company: one vendor-developer, a working product, and a direct line to the person who makes it.

What it does

  • • A season pipeline: applications, deadlines, booth fees, organizer contacts.
  • • Packing lists generated from per-event inventory allocation.
  • • Square sales attributed to the show you’re standing at.
  • • A real P&L per event — revenue minus booth fee, product costs, and mileage.
  • • An optional hosted website that shares the same catalog and inventory.

The details live in the documentation.

The first 50 founding vendors lock in 50% off for life and steer the roadmap. Or just say hello — I answer every message myself.
